Thompson's Mills is proud to announce the creation of four new podcasts. They were produced by school kids in Riverbend school in Springfield, under the direction of teacher Eva LaMar.
Learn about the mill keeper's house, how the mill changed through time, and how the mill's unique "manlift" elevator works.
The students have plans to add much more to their web page, but have made a big start with these podcasts.
I have been working with Mrs. LaMar for about 1 1/2 years. She brought her students out to the mill in early June and finished these podcast by the end of the school year. Go to ARCHIVE to listen to the four recordings. I think the kids did a great job.
